Important Message from the SITE Canada Board of Directors
The SITE Canada Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Liz Akey, President 2017, effective immediately. Liz asked that we share the following message with our members:
It is with great regret that I am tendering my resignation as SITE President and Board member effective immediately. Due to personal reasons, I am unable to fulfill my respective duties and responsibilities as President. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and remain committed to working with the Board to ensure a smooth transition. I know Diane Alexander will do an outstanding job leading the Board and our SITE members.
In accordance with the SITE Canada Bylaws, Diane Alexander will assume the role of President for 2017 and will maintain her position as President-Elect 2017.
Diane Alexander, acting SITE Canada President 2017:
I would like to wish Liz all the best and thank her for her mentorship. Liz did an excellent job positioning the Board for another outstanding year in 2017 and I look forward to fulfilling her vision. The Board of Directors is focused on what is most important: our members and how to best serve them. I am also excited to help continue the long-standing tradition of excellence that is SITE Canada.
