Ben Liegey 
Founder and CEO of BetterTable.ca: a Vancouver-based benefit company helping F&B operations be more profitable

Bene empowers Green Key certified hotels in BC with training, food waste audits and a certification programme to control food costs and increase profitability.

Originally from France, Ben has 9 years of experience consulting companies throughout the food supply chain, including the Rocky Mountaineer and the Sandman Hotels to name a couple.

He is also the co-Producer of a BC documentary about food waste solutions from farm to table: the Food Synergy Movie. He has an Executive MBA, and his role is to help hospitality leaders take control of their food costs and stop being frustrated with increasing food prices.

 

Dr. Teresa Moore 
Director of A Greener Future (AGF) and Co-Founder of Green Events and Innovations Conference (GEI)

As well as being Director of AGF and Co-founder of GEI Teresa is an internationally recognized speaker consultant researcher and author.
She leads on education, training, and research at A Greener Future. She created AGF’s online Assessor Training and Development programme and AGF’s short course portfolio. She also delivers inhouse workshops on sustainable event management for organisations such British Council, Manchester City Council, Royal Horticultural Society, Royal Parks, Without Walls Arts Association, Mela Partnership.

Teresa undertakes event and arena audits for AGF and has also advised a diverse range of organisations such as Greenpeace and Download Festival, British Council Mexico, and Great Run Company.

Teresa has been researching the problem of abandoned tents and behaviour change at festivals for a number of years as part of her PhD research recently submitting her doctoral thesis. She has published a number of works and frequently writes articles for industry.

Co- authored “A Case Study of the A Greener Festival Initiative” (2019).
